The Imperial Lions have teamed up with local footwear success story, Drip Footwear.
The story of Drip Footwear dates back to 2003, when founder Lekau Sehoana had to make the most of what he had, which in turn sparked innovation and creativity. Growing up in the informal settlement of Ivory Park, Sehoana didn’t have any shoes to wear. He then saw an old torn sneaker and redesigned it using denim and polyurethane. The sneaker became a local hit and led him to making an entry into the shoe-making business. A few years later, Drip was born and the rest is history.
“2022 is dedicated to great partnerships and collaborations as per our promise as Drip Footwear and we’re equally dedicated to keep moving on that notion,” said Sehoana. “Here’s to living in our great with the Imperial Lions. Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.”
