PUMA South Africa have bolstered their line-up of athletes, whilst at the same time renewing the deals of two World Cup winners.
Footballer Patrick Maswanganyi and his Bafana Bafana team-mate Rushwin Dortley have both signed with PUMA, as have Spar Proteas netballers Karla Pretorius and Kamo Maseko, whilst Springbok Women’s team member, Jakkie Cilliers adds to PUMA SA’s list of rugby players, joining the likes of Springboks Canan Moodie and Elrigh Louw, who have announced the extension of their deals.
Brett Bellinger, PUMA SA Marketing Director, said: “We welcome the addition of these exceptional athletes to our ever growing PUMA Family. They excel in their respective sports by being true to themselves, and performing with passion and flair. Each has a unique personality on and off the pitch, which connects with both our performance-driven and our lifestyle-focused audiences.”

Kaizer Chiefs defender Dortley said: “I signed with PUMA because it has a rich football history, having been associated with legendary players like Pele, Maradona, and Jomo Sono. Off the pitch, PUMA’s stylish designs make it an appealing choice for me as a footballer looking for a fashionable partner.”
Pretorius has competed at three Netball World Cups and is one of only five Spar Proteas players to have played more than 100 games for the national team.
“PUMA has a rich history of partnering with top athletes and delivering innovative, high-quality gear,” she said. “Their commitment to excellence aligns with my values and I’m excited to be part of such a prestigious brand.”
Moodie said he was grateful to renew his partnership with PUMA: “They have been with me from the start. I played in PUMA boots when I made my senior Bulls debut and my Springbok debut. I love the brand both for the comfortable and vibrant rugby boots, and for the lifestyle wear that makes you look good off the field.”
