North West Cricket has announced the appointment of Solomon Ali Meki as the organisation’s new Acting Cricket Services Manager.
With Ismail Minty as the Acting CEO, Meki will take over the role as CSM and project manage the upcoming T20 Tournament, commencing on the 17 October, as well as the ICC U19 Women’s World Cup to be hosted by JB Marks Oval in January next year.

Solly, as he known amongst his colleagues, has been at North West Cricket since 2008, having started as an intern and quickly progressed to Youth Cricket Co-ordinator from 2009 to date.
“I am thankful for the faith the board has in me and for the support the current Acting CEO, Mr Minty, has shown along with the faith he has placed in me, and I look forward to taking this exciting challenge head-on as it’ not only a great opportunity but it allows for tremendous growth,” said Meki.
