The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup trophy is on its way to South Africa.
That’s after the trophy was launched into space in June, giving fans around the world a unique opportunity to interact with the coveted trophy, ahead of the marquee event in India.

Launched in space to kickstart the campaign, the trophy is on a world tour and will arrive in South Africa to coincide with the Proteas’ T20 series against Australia in Durban.
The African leg of the tour kicked off in Uganda on 27 August, before taking in Nigeria and then South Africa.
