Global sports company PUMA and Mamelodi Sundowns have launched the club’s new ‘HOPE KIT’ as an alternative for the 2024/25 season.
“The HOPE KIT is an opportunity for the club, fans and PUMA to join hands and celebrate South Africa’s children,” said Brett Bellinger, PUMA SA Marketing Director. “The kit was unveiled on National Children’s Day to create awareness on children’s rights and well-being, with the white and blue kit symbolising youth, innocence, and positivity.”

Tiyani Mabunda, Mamelodi Sundowns spokesperson, said: “We invite our loyal and incredible supporters to purchase this HOPE Kit and become part of our mission to ensure every child in South Africa has a chance to thrive and reach their full potential. The mission to instill hope is a continuous collaborative work between the club and supporters in an effort to inspire the kids to speak up as they are the future leaders.”
The kit features a Mamelodi Sundowns badge updated to a rubberised version, “Sky is the limit” wording on the back of the neckline, and an authentication badge. The authentic shirt to be worn by the players on the pitch is made with PUMA’s ‘ULTRAWEAVE’ fabric, which reduces weight and friction, and features an athletic fit for elite-level performance. The replica shirt is made with recycled polyester.
The HOPE KIT shirts (R1599) will only be available on PUMA.com and PUMA Retail Stores, while the replica men (R1199), replica women (R1099), and replica kids (R999) will be available from PUMA.com, PUMA Retail Stores, Sportsmans Warehouse, Totalsports, Studio 88 and selected retailers. A selection of fanwear will also be available throughout the season.
