Betway SA20 warns against unofficial ticket sellers

Share

Betway SA20 is warning fans to avoid purchasing tickets for the third season from unlicensed vendors and online websites.

The only official outlets for tickets to Betway SA20 matches are www.SA20.co.za, www.ticketpro.co.za, and the six stadium ticket offices at Kingsmead, Wanderers, Centurion, Boland Park, Newlands and St George’s Park. Spectators should avoid ticket offers via secondary – mainly online – ticket markets. Online ‘re-sellers’ – masquerading under a host of brand names – do not have any official access to tickets.

“There has been an unprecedented demand for tickets for Betway SA20 Season 3 and we encourage all fans to purchase tickets from official outlets,” said League Commissioner, Graeme Smith. “Tickets are promised, often highly inflated prices are charged, and when the buyer asks about delivery, all is silent. We strongly advise not to buy from online ‘re-sellers’. Fans may be overcharged and never see tickets while losing their money. The only way to be certain of avoiding disappointment is to buy through the official channels.”

The first match of the season will see back-to-back defending champions, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, host MI Cape Town at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Thursday, 9 January.

Tickets for all 34 matches are available to purchase from www.SA20.co.za.
