Betway SA20 will be teaming up with Castle Lite for Season 2, which starts on 10 January 2024.

As the official ‘beer partner’ of the league, Castle Lite will have exclusive beer pouring rights at all 34 matches taking place around the country at the six venues.

“We are delighted to welcome Castle Lite as the official beer pouring partner of Betway SA20 for the next two years,” said Betway SA20 League Commissioner, Graeme Smith. “Providing a world-class stadium experience for all fans and spectators is a key objective for us, and this partnership will help us achieve that goal with the roll-out of engaging and consumer-focused activations this coming summer.”

Castle Lite’s in-stadium initiatives will include unlocking a spectator area for over 18 fans, where they can watch the cricket and enjoy “extra cold beer”. Tickets for this area will be available soon.

“The energy around sport in South Africa is so electric right now. We feel thrilled to be able to team up with such a vibrant and exciting property like Betway SA20,” said Colleen Duvenage, Castle Lite Brand Director. “We’ve established a well-earned reputation for putting the fans first and this new endeavour is just an extension of our commitment to placing ourselves within projects across the spectrum of music, sport and all-round entertainment that resonate with our consumers. We look forward to enhancing the Betway SA20 experience and sharing fun and refreshing moments with cricket lovers all across the country.”

Season 2 opens up with defending champions, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape, hosting the Joburg Super Kings in Gqeberha on 10 January.

Fans have an opportunity to be a part of the action for only R20, with the return of the popular “20 000 tickets for R20 tickets” promotion, which is only applicable to the first match at each venue. All tickets for the 30 round-robin matches are on sale across the six venues, and are available online at www.sa20.co.za or at the stadium ticket office.
