The 2022 Hollard Sport Industry Awards takes place at 1Fox in Johannesburg next Thursday, 24 November.
Billed as South Africa’s most prestigious awards ceremony for sport and business, these awards acknowledge the leaders and trailblazers within the business of sport.
This event sees hundreds of high-profile industry stakeholders along with prominent personalities from the world of sport celebrate the greatest achievements in the sector over the past year. Those at the very heart of South African sport will come together to recognise the top sports campaigns, events and sponsorships of 2021/2022.
Sponsored once again by Hollard, one of South Africa’s leading insurers, the event will see the announcement of the winners in 12 industry categories as well as five special awards for 2022, voted on by peers within the sporting industry. These include the ‘Leadership in Sport Business Award’; ‘Sport Industry Personality of The Year’; ‘Sport Lifetime Community Award’; ‘Sport Lifetime Achievement Award’ and the ‘Commentator Award’.
