Eastern Cricket has announced the appointment of Laden Gamiet as strength and conditioning coach, replacing Zane Webster who has been appointed to the Momentum Proteas national side.
During Webster’s time in the job, Easterns won three trophies and produced numerous players for franchises all over the country.
Gamiet is a former Warriors, Border, Northerns, SA U19 and National Academy top order batter. He played 135 representative games in a 13-year career that included three first-class and one List A hundred.
Gamiet completed his Biokinetics degree at the University of Johannesburg and is making a return to the cricket fold after being out for a few years.
