SA Rugby Franchises to resume full contact training

South Africa’s franchises have been given the green light to resume full contact training.

That’s according to SA Rugby.

It says all players have completed the necessary health checks and other protocol required.

SA Rugby says an announcement on the proposed competition structure for the rest of the season will be made as soon as details with government have been ironed out.

The news is good for the four Super Rugby franchises‚ even though how they’ll partake in some sort of competition hasn’t been clarified yet.

The Southern Kings have withdrawn from any domestic competition that could take place due to financial constraints.
