Tennis SA Teams Up with Sportsmans Warehouse

Sportsmans Warehouse has been unveiled as the official retail partner of Tennis South Africa, in the schools tennis category.

The new two-year sponsorship, which commences with immediate effect, sees Sportsmans Warehouse become an official supporter of key school’s tennis events in the country. That includes the high schools and primary schools inter-provincial tournaments, and BNP Paribas RCS Rising Star Tennis, a national team tennis event for primary and high schools across the country.

The new partnership also extends into other areas of local tennis – Sportsmans Warehouse will be offering regular exclusive discounts on tennis balls, equipment, and apparel to TSA members. In addition, the retailer will also be providing equipment support to TSA’s Growthpoint national grassroots development centres.

“This new partnership is a multi-faceted one that delivers benefits to schools tennis, our wider member base and our national grassroots centres alike. We are excited to work with a great retail brand like Sportsmans Warehouse, as we continue our efforts to grow tennis participation in South Africa,” said Richard Glover, CEO of Tennis South Africa.

“We are delighted to enter into a partnership with Tennis South Africa and look forward to working closely in aiding player development, growing awareness at all player levels, and ultimately adding value to TSA members and our broader customer base. Tennis is an important and valued category within our business, and we hope to assist in elevating the sport in South Africa,” added Anthony Shaw, CEO of Sportsmans Warehouse.”

Sportsmans Warehouse joins the likes of Growthpoint Properties, BNP Paribas, RCS, Wiphold, Dunlop, Lotto Sport Italia, KIA Motors and Tsogo Sun, who have all partnered with Tennis South Africa in recent years.
