Titans Cricket has announced the renewal of its partnership with wearables and tech giant Garmin for the 2023/2024 campaign.

Garmin is the ‘Official Device Partner’ of the Titans and the partnership has been going for more than five years, with the parties first going into business in 2017/2018.

Garmin product lines cover the aviation, marine, automotive, wearables, outdoor, and fitness industries. By integrating accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, Garmin devices are able to detect the precise direction and angle of movement, and track floors ascended/descended, or the types of activities taken, greatly enhancing the precision of GPS positioning.

Garmin has in the past partnered with various iconic sporting personas and teams, and the Titans are no different,” said Jeann Steyn, Garmin Sponsorship Co-ordinator Sub-Saharan Africa. “The partnership portrays Garmin’s commitment to sports development in South Africa, especially women’s sports. It is a privilege to be at the forefront of women’s sport with the Titans.”
