The Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation Invitational has been postponed due to travel restrictions recently placed on South Africa.
The inaugural competition was set to tee off in the new year at The Lost City Golf Course at Sun City from 22-23 January.
The invitational is a tribute to the life and legacy of the late Vivienne Player, who died in August this year, and a money-raising event for the Blair Atholl Pre-Primary School.

“Regrettably, due to the recent international travel restrictions, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the inaugural Gary and Vivienne Player Invitational. We are working with the Sunshine Tour on finding the best possible date to host this special event, in honour of my dearest Vivienne,” said Gary Player.
Supported by the Sunshine Tour, the weekend would field 20 Sunshine Tour professionals, celebrities, sports stars and business leaders, who would contribute to the foundation.
