SA Rugby has launched a fan campaign to rally supporters behind the Springboks ahead of the series against the British and Irish Lions.
It’s called ‘#SpringbokSaturday’, with the campaign video narrated by former Bok prop Beast Mtawarira.
Fans will also have the chance to have their voices heard through a fan banner campaign being run on SA Rugby’s digital platforms. Bok supporters are encouraged to send through poster messages, slogans or colloquial encouragement that will see the funniest, most inspirational and motivational messages displayed around stadiums on match day.
Messages should be kept shorter than 15 words and can be added here: https://bit.ly/36zFIGu.

In addition, three Bok supporters will each win a home theatre system, courtesy of Castle Lager, and a home wi-fi router and data deal compliments of MTN, worth R50 000 each, by uploading a video to any of their digital platforms and by tagging the Boks’ official pages and using #SpringbokSaturday and #MyHomeStadium.
Fans will also be able to sing the national anthem via a video conference call facility that will beam supporters onto the in-stadium big screens before kick-off.
#SpringbokSaturday will kick off with a pre-game build-up show on SA Rugby’s Facebook and YouTube platforms. The 90-minute online show will include international guests, celebrity interviews, behind-the-scenes footage of the Boks’ preparations, and some giveaways.
