Manchester United and England midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has featured in a new Match Attax short film, during which he surprises young fans with trading cards.
The video, which was produced by After Party Studios, also includes football freestyler and influencer Billy Wingrove.
Earlier this year, Fanatics inked a multi-year partnership with the Premier League, which will see Topps become the league’s exclusive trading card provider from 2025.

During the film, three young United fans arrive at a local newsagents store to collect a prize, after being informed that they had won a card collection competition.
The fans are subsequently asked about their Match Attax collections, and their footballing idols.
As part of the surprise, Mainoo then emerges from the storeroom with a Match Attax gift box set.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a breakout season for the Red Devils in 2023/24, and has secured 10 England caps.
“Growing up, I loved collecting Match Attax cards and trading with my friends at school, so being part of this alongside Billy was something really special,” Mainoo said. “Seeing their raw passion for football and the excitement these cards bring reminds me of why I love the game.”
Ian Foster, Marketing & Digital Content Director at Fanatics, added: “Kobbie’s surprise appearance created an unforgettable memory for these superfans and we were delighted to bring it to life. With innovative new inserts for the 2024/25 season, including some incredible ultra-rare cards to chase in special packs, Topps is looking forward to delivering more exciting moments like this to enhance the experience of our collectors.”
