Meta has released a new metaverse ad campaign focused on Team Amani, a 12-person team of male and female cyclists from African countries such as Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda.
The new 60-second video shows Amani cyclists using Meta’s WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram apps to connect with each other and fans.

It also looks to convey the future possibilities of the metaverse and how it eventually may be used for: honing technical and physical skills and reaching new heights; accessing more people and opportunities across borders; and experiencing entertainment in new ways.
The Meta advert was created in collaboration with US advertising agency Droga5 and will run on Facebook and Instagram, as well as broadcast television, connected TV and online video.
