Cricket Boland has announced that Johan Clarke informed the union that he has withdrawn his candidacy for the position of President of Cricket Boland.
Clarke expressed his gratitude for the support and encouragement he received throughout his candidacy. However, after thorough evaluation of the potential harm that his candidacy can cause Cricket Boland, he told the union he believed that this was in the best interests of the organisation.
