Cricket Boland has announced the extension of the current sponsorship agreement with betting brand Gbets for another two seasons.

The partnership agreement will ensure Gbets remains the official sponsor of the Rocks, Cricket Boland’s professional cricket team, for the upcoming season.

The team will continue to be called the GbetsRocks.

‘’The GbetsRocks have been performing exceptionally well over the years and Gbets is committed to supporting the team’,’ said Dwain Powell, Operations Manager of the online sports betting company. ‘’We see similarities and synergies for this partnership, and extending our sponsorship was an easy decision. We see this partnership flowering even more in the future’’.

The GbetsRocks have been bolstered by the recent signings of Proteas Keegan Petersen and Glenton Stuurman, as well as Aviwe Mgijima and Akhona Mnyaka, two experienced franchise cricketers.

Top-order batter Janneman Malan is also now contracted full-time by the Rocks, having previously had a national contract.
