The organisers of the 2020 Hollard Sport Industry Awards have extended the deadline for entries to Monday the 19th of October.
That’s after already expressing delight at the amount of interest in this year’s awards programme.
The decision to extend the deadline was taken due to the number of entrants seeking an extension.
An initiative of the Sport Industry Group and sponsored by Hollard, these awards showcase and reward the passion and creativity behind some of South Africa’s most iconic sporting events, and the very best work behind the business of sport, which spans marketing, PR, digital, sponsorship, advertising, community investment, social media and branding.
Nominees will be informed as to whether they have been shortlisted on the 24th of October.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview with the judging panel on the second and third of November. These interviews will be done on Microsoft Teams.
Work in the following categories will be rewarded:
- Agency of the Year
- AV Content of the Year
- Campaign of the Year
- Communications Award of the Year
- Digital Platform of the Year
- Young Agency of the Year
- Event or Competition Sponsorship Award
- Fan Engagement Award
- Social and Environmental Impact Award
- Social Media Campaign of the Year
Submissions for the 2020 Hollard Sport Industry Awards cost R450 (excluding VAT) per entry, for each category.
