Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana national kit manufacturer Le Coq Sportif has unveiled a new retro jersey.
The unveiling coincided with South Africa’s Freedom Day, with Le Coq Sportif calling it the “legacy jersey”.
The jersey is reminiscent of the men’s national team’s glory days, with the French apparel manufacturer bringing in many elements from Bafana’s Bafana’s 1996 Africa Cup of Nations-winning jersey, with a tinge of the 1998 shirt that Bafana reached the 1998 AFCON final in.
