Johannesburg-based agency Levergy has appointed Melissa Daniels as its new Managing Director.
Daniels joins Levergy from global design and advisory firm Lucky Beard, where she held the position of Lucky Beard Stories COO.
She is an experienced marketer and advertising exec, having previously been CEO of DDB South Africa, following stints as Managing Director of OpenCo – The Open Collaboration/TBWA and Chief of Staff at TBWA South Africa.
Daniels will be tasked with entrenching Levergy’s position as one of South Africa’s top agencies, with a specialty in sport. Levergy is a multiple winner of the Hollard Sport Industry Awards’ ‘Agency of the Year’ award.

According to a Levergy statement, Daniels is “well-versed in the business and the importance of creating, managing, and maintaining relationships with its clients. In addition to partnering with clients, she has driven product development within agency groups and has implemented agile performance marketing systems in product development companies.”
