The Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic and the Fedhealth Platinum Trail have moved to 28 and 29 August, respectively.
The decision to move the events from June to August was made the day after President Cyril Ramaphosa’s national address that announced a return to Lockdown Level 2 for South Africa, in light of a possible third wave of Covid-19 infections.
“Fedhealth is a responsible player in the health sector and we support the very difficult decision to move the events to later in the year,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports, organisers of both events. “We are, however, happier to postpone the events rather than cancelling them, as we are optimistic that restrictions will be eased over the next couple of months. We will at all times adhere to government regulations with regard to the hosting of events during the pandemic period.”
