Roc Nation’s EQ and Sbu Nkosi Announce Partnership

Roc Nation’s independent distribution platform – Equity Distribution – has announced a partnership with Springbok wing Sbu Nkosi.

The partnership will allow Nkosi – who is a passionate vocalist and producer – to distribute his music to a worldwide audience. The exclusive partnership is one of the firsts in South African sport and was facilitated by Roc Nation Sports.

Nkosi’s love for music started at the age of 10 and has since grown to be an influential and motivating aspect to his success on and off the rugby field.

“Music has done a lot for me, both on and off the field, and it is a form of therapy for me,” he says. “It is a big source of my motivation and inspiration before I play for my country, and equally plays a role when I celebrate victory or reflect on disappointments. I eat, live and breathe music similar to the way that I eat, live and breathe rugby – the two are my biggest passion points. I am extremely excited to be a part of the EQ family and to be able to distribute my music to a worldwide audience. I have spent countless hours since I was a 10-year-old making tracks during my spare time, and I look forward to taking my music to the next level with this partnership.”
