Titans Cricket have been busy, concluding a series of commercial deals, prior to the start of the new domestic season in South Africa.

First, the franchise announced the renewal of its partnership with Veldskoen, the South African shoe brand, for an additional three years in August.

“Our continued partnership with Veldskoen is a perfect fit, both literally and figuratively,” said Jacques Faul, CEO of Titans Cricket. “The shoes have become a staple for our players and staff, not just because of their distinctive style, but also because of the unparalleled comfort they offer. Whether paired with formal or informal attire, Veldskoen have seamlessly integrated into our everyday lives, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to continue this journey together.”

A week later, the Titans were able to announce the extension of their partnership with Mobi-G, a South African manufacturer of high-quality golf carts.

Mobi-G’s golf carts have become an integral part of match days, events, and day-to-day stadium operations at SuperSport Park. The ease of transportation these carts provide allows staff and players to move around the stadium comfortably and efficiently. Notably, the Mobi-G Loader has been a game-changer on match days, ensuring that drinks and other essentials are quickly and conveniently transported from the changing rooms to the field.

“The Titans-branded Mobi-G Limo, in particular, has been a standout, allowing us to offer our partners and visiting celebrities luxurious tours around the stadium, perfectly matching the high standards of our union,” said Pierre Joubert, Titans Cricket Commercial Manager.

Just a few days later, the Titans announced a new partnership with Totalguard-Terrapod, the safety workwear supplier. They will be supplying safety footwear to the ground staff at SuperSport Park and dress shoes to the Titans Academy Young Guns team for official functions.

The last deal struck in a short space of time sees the Titans partnered with SBS Tanks, who have installed water storage systems in the stadium. The installation of three 20 000 SBS Water Tanks at SuperSport Park will provide both environmental and financial benefit to the precinct once installed and integrated to the municipal system.

“SBS Tanks is making a significant investment in the stadium and added to that it will help us manage a natural resource while reduce the expense on our water bill,” said Faul.

SBS Tanks have won a number of awards from the Durban Chamber Of Commerce over the years, including ‘Exporter of the Year’ and ‘Most Productive Company in South Africa’, amongst others.

“SuperSport Park is a well-regarded venue with a strong reputation in the sporting community,” said Anthony McGregor, SBS Tanks Sales Consultant. “Partnering with such a prestigious venue reflects positively on SBS Tank’s commitment to quality and reliability. SuperSport Park is a hub for sports fans and local communities. By contributing to the venue’s success, our company can build goodwill and positive community relations, enhancing our brand’s reputation at a local and international level.”
