The Western Province Cricket Association and South African Breweries have announced the continuation of their partnership for the next four years.
The partnership sees SAB continue as the preferred partner in the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers, ciders, ales and lager category for all domestic and international matches hosted at World Sports Betting Newlands Cricket Ground.
“We are very excited to be able to announce the continuation of this relationship with SAB and thank SAB for the faith shown in the team at WPCA in renewing their contract with us,” said WPCA CEO, Corrie van Zyl. “We look forward to working with SAB to ensure they continue to enhance our consumer journey at World Sports Betting Newlands on game day.”

SAB Events Manager Shane Bowler commented: “We have a long and proud history supporting the Western Province Cricket Association. With the continuation of our partnership with the union we hope to ensure fantastic fan enjoyment and experiences at all events that we partner up with WPCA.”
The sponsorship renewal announcement comes just weeks before the start of the new domestic cricket season, with the Western Province men’s team due to host neighbours Boland in their first game in the T20 Challenge at Newlands on 29 September.
