Sportsvendo has announced that only one Color Run will take place in 2021, with this year’s event slated for Saturday 27 November at the Mall of Africa in Gauteng.
“With The Color Run, we create an event for the whole family. This will probably be the most fun they have while exercising together as a family,” said Leon Swanepoel, Sportsvendo’s CEO. “We hope that with The Color Run we can encourage families to spend quality time together, while also looking after their health and wellness.”
The Color Run is a five-kilometre event in which thousands of participants are splashed in different colours at each kilometre. With no winners or official times, The Color Run caters to everyone – from first-time runners to seasoned athletes.
The event is open to everyone and children under two participate for free. Mini runners entry tickets are available for children between the ages of two and 12.

Each runner will receive a race shirt, medal, race number and packet of powder.
The Color Run will be a controlled event that will take place under strict health and safety protocols. The number of participants will also be limited to 2000.
