Titans Cricket has announced that Bot River Valley-based wine maker Wildekrans will be the ‘wine partner’ of the Sky Blues Trust.
The local wine producer, known for its award-winning wines, also has a range of olive oils.
The Sky Blues Trust wine project has hit the ground running, with exclusive wines from the Wilderkrans Estate Pinotage range that features Titans players and legends on the labels.
Players included in the first batch that is available are AB de Villiers, Albie Morkel, Laura Wolvaardt, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen and Dewald Brevis.

“It’s great that we can make the announcement of the Sky Blues Trust and Wildekrans wine project with the exclusive range of wine already available,” said Titans CEO, Dr Jacques Faul. “It is also for a great cause, because all proceeds from the wine will go towards the Sky Blues Trust, which is an idea we’ve had for a number of years now and I’m pleased that Wilderkrans were able to make it come to life. This is one of those achievements we will look back on after some time and really be proud of what we were able to achieve.”
Aside from the Estate range offered in white and red, Wilderkrans also offers a premium Barrel Select Reserve Range, as well as blends and Méthode Cap Classique.
“The Titans are the most successful team in domestic cricket in South Africa over the last two decades, boasting legendary past and present players. Management, ably lead by Dr Jacques Faul, have been innovative in marketing the brand and product offering attracting larger audiences and supporters,” said Gary Harlow, the owner of Wildekrans. “For Wildekrans this is a perfect alignment of branding and target market and both Titans and Wildekrans are leading brands in their respective markets.”
Additional batches of the exclusive labels will be made available at later stages, which will include other players that have donned the Sky Blue kit.
“At Wildekrans we believe brand loyalty comes from understanding consumer and community needs and a strong focus on meeting these. Supporting sport and other community initiatives in our local town has remained a priority for many years,” said Harlow.
